Biography

Born on October 20, 1945, George Wyner is an actor who is most noted for his role as A.D.A. Irwin Bernstein on Hill Street Blues. He has, however, appeared in more than 100 TV series including ER, Nip/Tuck, The West Wing, Hawaii Five-O, Days of our Lives and Stargate SG-1, just to name a few.

Wyner, who earned his drama degree at Syracuse University in 1968, has also graced the silver screen as Marvin Gillet on Fletch and the sequel Fletch Lives, as the camp director on American Pie 2, as Meisel on The Devil’s Advocate and as Rabbi Nachtner on A Serious Man. Most recently, though, he was cast as Richard on the TV Land sitcom Retired at 35.
