So season 4 ends. Abysmal lows, of course, but some surprise highs. Everyone faces tough choices that will shake up, or shatter, their own personal snowglobes, finding and appreciating small graces. And I‘ve discovered my superpower -- the ability to re-form into a human shape after dissolving into a blathering puddle of goo. My kryptonite? FNL, duh.Two key events this week -- the big cat gridiron clash between the Lions and Panthers (with its own oil derrick trophy!), and Thanksgiving. Coach has whipped the Lions into shape enough to contend, but Vince and Landry are both insecure, and he‘s benched Luke, who‘s threatening to transfer to a more visible team, and needs the "air time" to show he can perform. Found it odd that in their heated conversation, the extreme tension between Luke‘s bible-thumping mother and Tami didn‘t come up, though it was simmering below the surface.
