Jason Street (Scott Porter) was the starting quarterback on the television show "Friday Night Lights." During the first game of his senior year, he was injured and ended up paralyzed. Although his girlfriend Lyla Garrity (Minka Kelly) was very devoted to him, eventually they broke up. Jason and his family sued Coach Taylor (Kyle Chandler) for negligence and won enough money to help accommodate his new life in a wheelchair. He worked briefly as an assistant coach for the Dillon Panthers and lived away from home for a while with another paraplegic. While living away from home, he met a girl named Erin (Tamara Jolaine), whom he got pregnant. Eventually, he moved to New Jersey and married Erin. They live together with their son, Noah (unknown).
