Domenico Nesci has come a long way from being a strong contender in MTV's A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila to being the star of his very own reality dating series, That's Amore. In the course of more or less two years, Domenico has become one of today's most adorable and charming reality TV personalities.

Earlier this year, we all got a chance to delve deeper in the life of our 26-year-old lover boy with MTV's dating game, That's Amore. There, he attempted to mend his not-so-broken heart following his departure from A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila, where he was eliminated in the seventh episode. After only six episodes of the Italian dating series, Domenico has successfully found the girl of his dreams. A new journey has begun with Domenico and his girl Megan Mirilovich, but before he walks away from his reality TV journey, he sits down to talk about his experiences.

Like most fans of reality dating shows, viewers of That's Amore are also eager to find out the status of the relationship of love searcher Domenico Nesci and winner Megan Mirilovich. Supporters of the reality TV couple will be pleased to know they are still very much together.

Giving confirmation to the happy relationship is Megan Mirilovich, who continues to post updates and pictures of her and Domenico Nesci together on her official Facebook page and her blog on MTV.

Previously on That's Amore! – 15 women entered a mansion to fall in love with Domenico Nesci. After just five episodes, we're down to Kim and Megan.

Domenico takes the two girls to Italy, but sadly, Ashley McNeely is left behind. Once they arrive at Domenico's village, the girls are a bit disillusioned to see that he lives in a tiny village out of a bad movie. As Domenico describes the town of Acquaro, if you fart from the East side, the people on the West side will hear it. I know when I think about the most romantic cities on Earth, my decision is based on the volume of strangers' farts.

Or should that title be “Looking Forward to the Season Finale”? With the way MTV has blown through this season of That's Amore!, it seems like not even its own network is particularly sad to see this show come to a close.

Ultimately, I do still feel bad for Domenico Nesci. He had managed to emerge from A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila with the affection of the viewers…only to probably squander most of it by then appearing on this train wreck of a show.

Previously on That's Amore! – The girls' families arrived, and Christina got super drunk (as did her mom), started a fight (as did her mom) and got thrown out of the mansion (as did her mom).

This is the penultimate episode of That's Amore, thank God. It's kind of amazing, and a commentary on MTV's lack of faith in this show, that 14 women can get eliminated in just six episodes. Also, the episode description for next week's finale gives away the final two, so keeping it a secret wasn't a priority at all. Ashley McNeely calls in some friends, Amanda and Michael B. from A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila. They wake up Domenico Nesci, and he's excited to see his old friends.

Previous on That's Amore! – Missy broke a statue and Rebecca cried, so they got sent home. Girl Ashley was eliminated, then came back to try to start a fight, to no avail. After just three episodes, 10 women have been eliminated.

Despite Girl Ashley asking Christina to destroy Talor upon her loud exit, Talor is trying to be friends with Christina, bonding over their mutual skinniness and large bust lines. Seriously, this is Talor's idea of friendship.

While my hopes have recently been raised that That's Amore! might come to a mercifully swift end, the fact is it is still on the schedule for Sunday. So nothing can keep me from my appointed rounds of making some guesses as to what could happen on the next episode.

So at the least, we have one positive to cling to: we're already down to five women. We have Kim, the villainess who kind of dropped the ball on her evildoing last episode of That's Amore! (although I guess it is hard to top reinventing the locker room scene from Carrie for pure alpha dog Mean Girl nastiness). We have virginal Kathleen, who, to me, seems to be the vey obvious front-runner for Domenico Nesci's heart in that she is a) a reported virgin and yet b) skilled at slutting it up in a French maid outfit for her man. And then there's some other girls.

Here's a valuable piece of life advice I'm about to give you, kids. Most of the time, if something seems like a questionable idea, but you decide to go ahead with it anyway, saying to yourself, “Well, how bad could it be?” the answer is probably: worse than you think.

Case in point: That's Amore! Before the season started, that's exactly what I thought. Domenico Nesci seemed cute enough on A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila. That show was pretty gross in its own way, but the kids on the show seemed somewhat likable anyway, so I found myself saying those exact words: How bad could That's Amore! be?

Three episodes in and it's clear: worse than I thought.

Previously on That's Amore! – Love got sick and had to go before spreading the plague to the rest of the women (they already have enough diseases to worry about, I imagine). Talor's ass was better than Jessica's, so Jessica was also sent home. Kim and Missy hazed Rebecca until she cried, then they did it some more.

While the other girls are at breakfast, Talor sneaks into Domenico Nesci's bed for some private cuddling. The girls get their pizza deliver and they are informed about yet another food-themed challenge, this one involving live chickens that Ashley McNeely is tending to. The chickens are for dinner, and Rebecca is already crying about it.

So what's going to happen this weekend on the third episode of That's Amore!? I have a feeling I know what isn't going to happen.

I'm pretty certain that uber-villain Kim isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Things can obviously always change on a dime in reality television, but if there is anything you can do to give yourself a little more longevity on a show like That's Amore!, I think that it would be tying a tampon in someone else's hair. That's reality gold. And besides, without Kim, what else has the show got? Sure, there's a lot of Italian cuisine the producers can force the girls to muck about in: fettuccine alfredo, osso bucco, some gelato…but you have to have a villain for at least a little while longer.

It is so appropriate that on a show like That's Amore!, there is a moment of confusion as the contestants try to figure out if a contestant is bleeding or simply covered in pizza sauce? Is something genuine happening or is this just more gimmick? In this case, Christina actually was bleeding for her man, Domenico Nesci, but no one can be blamed for having a moment of doubt.

So we are two episodes in, and I am starting to have one major question answered, but another big one still lingers. No, the first is not “Will Domenico find love?” and the second is not “But will it be reciprocated?”

Previously on That's Amore!: Domenico Nesci acted like the love child of Roberto Benigni and Super Mario. Ashley McNeely continued to have an allergy to sleeves. And Kim stepped forward as the Queen Bee-yotch of the show.

Boy Ashley wakes Domenico up, and I'm stunned his pajamas have sleeves. The two men decide to make breakfast for the ladies. The show revisits the blondes vs. brunettes rivalry in the house. Domenico takes virginal Kathleen aside for a smooch. Boy Ashley gives a nice speech about trying to find love for his BFF, which makes Rebecca cry. Kim hates this. Also, is it just me, or is Boy Ashley more appealing on this show than the guy the girls are trying to fall in love with?

This weekend, we will have the next episode of That's Amore! What to expect? More of the same, no doubt: Domenico Nesci acting zany, some of the ladies acting shady, and probably some kind of gross-out food related stunt, unless the production was still busy enough hosing down the spaghetti sauce from the shooting of the first episode that they decided to take a break from all of it. You could try to make specific predictions about which girl will act out the most and which ones will go home, but, honestly, why bother?

Here's my conundrum with a show like That's Amore! One of contestants, Hunter, who was eliminated in the first episode, commented in her I Am On MTV profile video that shows like That's Amore! are generally phony and implied this one is phonier than most.

This is it: I am officially old. You always kind of dread the moment that something happens in culture that you just simply do not get and you have to face the facts that you're old and out of touch. And what makes me feel old and out of touch is: I don't understand what I've been calling the aggressively-matte muddy fake tan that is the hallmark of the reality show "hot" girl lately.

Case in point: That's Amore!'s Kim. Our BuddyTV editor John Kubicek has pointed out how loathsome of a person Kim would appear to be, but honestly, I can't even listen to or pay attention to her actions or speech when she's on screen. All I can do is mindlessly flex my fist around an imaginary brillo pad that I want to use to SCRUB THAT FAKE TAN THAT LOOKS LIKE DIRT OFF HER FACE. Like I'm some kind of meddling grandma. Stand up straight! Get your hair out of your eyes, young ladies!

So wring your hands all you want, culture critics, about how awful reality shows are, but to me, they never crossed the line as much as they did the day That's Amore! made me feel old.

Other than that though, this show? Eh.

On A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila, we were introduced to Domenico Nesci, an adorably eccentric Italian with a fondness for frank sexual discussions and Italian flag Speedos. Despite being eliminated, MTV decided Domenico still needed to find true love, and That's Amore! was born.

In addition, the new show has recruited Domenico's Shot at Love BFF Ashley McNeely to play the role of consigliore (because if TV has taught us anything, it's that all Italians are in the mob). He was the dim-witted Southern boy who frequently called Domenico “Little Italy.” On That's Amore, Ashley will be Goose to Domenico's Maverick. That makes me Iceman, chomping my teeth at this show all season.

Beginning Sunday, March 2, viewers will be able to watch Italian reality star Domenico Nesci embarking on his own quest for true love when MTV's new dating reality series, That's Amore, debuts. Fans of reality television will recognize Nesci from A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila, wherein he competed against – but was ultimately defeated by – both men and women for the heart of MySpace personality Tila Nguyen.

While the premiere of That's Amore is less than one week away, several events promoting the show have already been set in motion, with one taking place just this Saturday at Club Oragin. The party was hosted by Dominique, one of the women hoping to win Domenico Nesci's heart, and Vanessa, the feisty A Shot at Love alum who had a nasty cat fight with fellow contestant Brandi.
