The Pussycat Dolls to Perform on 'The Hills' Finale

Tonight marks the much awaited fourth season ender of The Hills. To celebrate the conclusion, MTV is throwing the ultimate finale event entitled “The Hills Finale Live from NYC” kicking off at 8pm ET/PT. Hosted by MTV News' Tim Kash, the pre-show will feature the entire cast as they walk down the red carpet, join fans live from the Tavern On The Green in New York City and catch up on the latest drama as the network re-airs the last three episodes of the season.

After getting the inside scoop on The Hills, fans can finally enjoy the fourth season finale at 10pm ET/PT. As reported previously, Lauren and Heidi are expected to have a run-in which leads them to put their feud aside and remember why they used to be friends. Meanwhile, Spencer and Heidi deal with the fallout of their elopement when Heidis mother comes to town, and Justin surprises Audrina when he whisks her away to Palm Springs for his own surprise.

Four years ago, the Pussycat Dolls entered the music scene with an extremely popular album that had mainstream success thanks to multiple hits like "Don't Cha" and "Buttons.” The group, consisting of Nicole Scherzinger, Ashley Roberts, Jessica Sutta, Melody Thornton and Kimberly Wyatt, hopes to dominate competition that has sprung up in their absence with their sophomore effort “Doll Domination.” Unfortunately, their new release doesn't have quite the same appeal of its predecessor, according to several reviews.

As Girlicious, the product of the reality show Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious, recently headed to Canada for the MuchMusic Video Awards, an article on Canada’s largest daily newspaper criticized the group for, among others, not knowing Canada’s current prime minister.

“She knows next to nothing about Canada. Asked to name our current prime minister, and given three choices – Pierre Trudeau, Tim Horton and Stephen Harper – she chooses Tim Horton. Honestly, this embarrasses me more for writing about it and now having to practically take it back, than it probably does her. Not my fault though. What is it, you say? Well, lets flashback to last week. Remember we broke the news that toxic former pop princess, Britney Spears, had shot a brief cameo for the Pussycat Dolls' new video? How a lot can happen in less than seven days and with the help of the sometimes brutal magic of the editing room. Depending on which side of the fence you stand on, either the gods have heard your uproar or fate has struck a cruel blow.

Alas, Britney Spears' infamous little stint on the Pussycat Dolls' “When I Grow Up” video never made it past post-production. Her sequence as a motorist driving by and waving to the Dolls was left out of the finished product, which debuted Friday, June 13, on the new FNMTV.

We haven’t heard much from the Pussycat Dolls after their smash hit and self-titled debut album came out and featured radio-friendly hits such as “Dontcha,” “Stick Wit U,” “Buttons,” and “Beep” way back in 2005. Since then, the girls have released hit after hit, and fans couldn’t wait for their sophomore album to come around. Due to the success of their debut album, the Dolls were able to tour the world, and come 2007, PDC lead singer Nicole Scherzinger was given a chance to go solo as an artist. She was able to release singles “Whatever You Like” and the more popular “Baby Love,” but was never able to release a full length album.
