The show is an overall review of the fun and crazy shows on TV, and
this week I stopped by to offer up my unique and very compulsive love
of TV.

If you don't know, I watch A LOT of TV. Basically, I'm like one of those people on the A&E documentary series Horders, only with television. I watch more than 50 shows every week on a regular basis, everything from cable gems like Dexter and Sons of Anarchy to mainstream hits like Grey's Anatomy and Dancing with the Stars to guilty pleasures like One Tree Hill and The Vampire Diaries.
People's Choice Award Nominees: 'True Blood,' 'Gossip Girl' and the Usual Suspects

This morning the People's Choice Award nominations were revealed, and
as always, it's populism at its best. On the TV side, the nominees
often look like the top of the Nielsen ratings list, with a few notable
and surprising exceptions. Shows like True Blood and Gossip Girl crept into the Favorite TV Actress categories while Favorite Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Show features Lost, True Blood, The Vampire Diaries and Supernatural.

However, those are the very cool exceptions. For the most part, the list is full of CSI, NCIS, Grey's Anatomy, Two and a Half Men and other top-rated shows. Here are the major television nominees for this year's People's Choice Awards.

To vote for the People's Choice Awards, CLICK HERE.
'Heroes' Review: The World is Sylar's Hostage

It's time to move on from the events that happened in the infamous roadside dinner in Texas to the events that transpired two weeks ago on Heroes. While the three-character arc per episode has made storylines a bit cohesive, it makes the show a little bit confusing to follow because of the sporadic continuity. But if you've stuck by this show through thick and thin, then you're already used to this minor glitch. Now on to the highlights of "Shadowboxing," the ninth episode of Heroes' fourth season.

Heroes: Preview of Episode 4.9 "Shadowboxing"

After taking last week's trip down memory lane, it's time to revert our focus to what the fourth season of Heroes is really all about: Redemption! But redemption is not only about our heroes seeking salvation, nor is it just about the show's attempt to spring back to its former glory. It's also about the Carnival trying to recover from the loss of their leader and seeking revenge in the process.

Unfortunately for our heroes, things are already falling into place for the Carnies. Proving that he's mastered the art of manipulation, Samuel already has Hiro at his beck and call and this week, he sets his eyes on Claire to get through her dad.

'Heroes' Takes a Trip Down Memory Lane

Once upon a time in Texas, Hiro met a waitress named Charlie. The newly resurrected Sylar, unfortunately, has no idea who he is and why he's in the woods and it only gets worse as Baltimore cop Lubbock (Ernie Hudson) finds out that he's watchmaker and murderer Gabriel Grey.

To sum it up, four things happened on Heroes this week: Claire kissed a girl, Sylar found refuge with the Carnies, Emma discovered another use for her powers and we finally learned who killed Claire's old roommate Annie. Now let's get on to the recap and review.

Heroes: Preview of Episode 4.5 "Hysterical Blindness"

If there's one episode worth checking out, it's tonight's "Hysterical Blindness," the fifth installment from Heroes' fifth season. For several weeks now, fans have been talking about the controversial kiss between Hayden Panettiere and Madeline Zima, though not everyone is onboard for some girl-on-girl action. Has Heroes really jumped the shark? Or will the lesbian plot stir the show in the right direction? We find out tonight at 8pm on NBC.

Sneak Peak: 'Heroes' Takes a Twisted Turn

We've all heard the rumors about a hot lesbian action plot involving Claire and new found friend Gretchen on Heroes this season but we were never really given any proof about it. The show didn't make a big leap forward except for the ending, which I'll discuss in a bit, but I welcomed the slower moments that pave the way for some substantial character development.

BuddyTV Prize Pack Giveaway: Are you 'Heroes' Number 1 Fan?

Update: This contest is now over. I have to admit that, albeit there are a lot of things to improve on, I'm enjoy the new season so far and I'd like to think that it has something to do with Mohinder gone missing. Sure, the Carnies and Sylar are pretty much what's keeping the show afloat but somehow, I find comfort in knowing that I don't have to deal with Mohinder's annoying voiceovers and bizarre storylines anytime soon. I've always found Samuel interesting simply because there's just so much to unearth about the new mystery guy. But Sylar, I never thought that he could do any more damage than messing with people's head.

Heroes: Ink In The Answers

I haven't exactly watched Heroes as faithfully as I could've, but circumstances have compelled me to check it out again. I admit it bogged me down to look back on the previous season and catch up with everything - from new villains to the Carnies. Then again, who can say if those categories aren't similar?

Anyway, I was reminded of Ray Bradbury's story about "The Illustrated Man" when I caught a glimpse of Heroes' "Ink." If you aren't familiar with that sci-fi short, it's about a guy who was inked by a woman from the future, and whose tattoos change every time a new tale is spun. So translating all this to the show, basically it's series-newbies Samuel (Robert Knepper) and Lydia (Dawn Olivieri).
