Known as the world's most famous bounty hunter, Duane "Dog" Chapman, his team that includes his wife Beth and the fearless posse will continue to hunt down fugitives in both Hawaii and Colorado while trying to maintain their marriage, families, and communities.

The hit reality series and its central figure suffered a setback when on mid-May, El Paso county dropped attempted murder charges against someone who allegedly shot Chapman with a handgun during an attempt to arrest a fugitive in late April. The case was dismissed for lack of evidence and conflicting statements by Dog, his son Leland, and Bobby Brown. The incident happened in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and the alleged gunman, Hoang Nguyen, escaped on a motorcycle only to be captured by Dog six hours later.

Dog the Bounty Hunter: 'Let It Snow' Preview

After a very successful fifth season debut, Dog the Bounty Hunter is certainly back. On tonight's episode, Dog the Bounty Hunter viewers get to meet Christopher, a 20-year-old victim of domestic abuse and assault. As always, it is not a walk in the park for Dog and his family as the leads are scarce.

This marks the return of the series on A&E after the network pulled the plug on the show last November. This was after an audio recording of Chapman using racial slurs was released to the public. His controversial comments, aimed at his son Tucker's African-American girlfriend, became the center of calls from civil rights leaders for A&E to cancel his show. Despite a statement from Chapman, who apologized for his “regrettable use of very inappropriate language,” the network suspended production of the series for an indefinite period of time.

African-American Org Leader Congratulates Dog for the return of 'Dog the Bounty Hunter'

It's no secret that Dog the Bounty Hunter is coming back on the air, thanks to fans' campaigning efforts to save the show and Dog Chapman's various efforts to reach out to the black community. Congratulating the star of the show and his supporters for the resumption of the series is Rev.
According to Chapman's attorney, it was all a case of “massive misunderstanding” since his client was actually just changing his pants after spilling some orange juice on them. However, an Oahu judge has since determined that there appears to be sufficient evidence supporting the charge of terroristic threatening to bring the case to trial.

'Dog the Bounty Hunter' Co-star Caught with Pants Down

As if the indefinite yanking of Dog the Bounty Hunter from the air isn't bad enough, one of the reality show's co-star's has now been caught naked and charged with first-degree terroristic threatening. Tim Chapman turned himself in to Honolulu police on Friday, after fleeing from authorities the night before.

At the root of the supremacists' anger towards Chapman is the public apology he made for using the N-word repeatedly during a phone conversation with his son, Tucker. As it turned out, Tucker had taped the conversation without Chapman knowing, and subsequently sold it to the National Enquirer. The tabloid posted the conversation on their website, giving virtually anyone the opportunity to hear Chapman as he berated his son for dating an African-American woman by the name of Monique Shinnery.

'Dog' Goes on 'Larry King Live,' Says He Still Loves His Son

Duane "Dog" Chapman may have been sold out to the press by his son, Tucker, but on Wednesday, the star of A&E's reality series, Dog the Bounty Hunter, told Larry King that he still loves his son.
