Gossip Girl Fashion Update: Blake in Thigh High Boots, Jessica in Nylon

Gossip Girl episodes are normally chock-full of enviable fashions, but the next few episodes look even more drool-worthy than ever: next week's "Enough About Eve" features the NYU freshman dinner, which has Blair, Chuck, and Vanessa at their most glamorous, and then the week after in "How to Succeed in Bassness," Chuck's hotel opening party will get all our Gossip Girl stars in their best zoot suits and flapper dresses for a 20's inspired bash!

But the Gossip Girl stars are true fashion icons, even off set.

Gossip Girl: What Does Serena's Style Say About Her in Season 3?

Such is the question asked by the 3-minute video below, featuring Gossip Girl costume designer Eric Daman. The stylist tells us what Serena's clothes will say about her in the Season 3 premiere and beyond, and has a couple key insights into how Miss van der Woodsen will be speaking through her clothes.

Serena already has a penchant for skin-hugging short skirts and deep V-necks, and it sounds like her desire to get noticed will only be ramped up this season. Could this relate to the hints that she'll be hooking up with high fashion designers, maybe even as a model?

Anna Sui's Gossip Girl-inspired women's clothing line for Target will launch in September, just in time for Season 3 of our favorite fashion-friendly teen drama to commence, with most of the crew beginning at various universities in the fall.

The 4 mini-collections in the line are inspired by the four female Gossip Girl leads: Blair, Serena, Jenny and Vanessa.

This sunday were the BET Awards, and many stars brought their fashion A-game to the red carpet, where the talk of the day was the tragic loss of Michael Jackson, which cast a dark but deserved shadow over the proceedings.

This is the dress that will not die. It is, apparently, some sort of zombie cocktail dress. We tried to kill it after Kristin Cavallari and Heather Graham both wore it last week, when we had a double-dose deja vu edition of what the frock. But obviously that didn't work, because Heidi Montag showed up in the same tore up, broke down, back from the dead dress twice last night on Jimmy Fallon and Larry King Live.

Today, we're catching up with the ever adorable Jennifer Aniston, who was at the Women in Film Festival this weekend, looking fit, tan, and toned as as hell. Per usual. Thanks to whatever 50+ hours per week pilates regimen she's on, and those miraculous genes she's been blessed with, and probably some sort of fancy diet where all she eats is celery and a smoothie made of pure alpha hydroxy, this woman is impervious to that thing called "Aging."

Unfortunately, the dress she chose for this occasion is not impervious to those things called "Wrinkles."

Andrew Christian had a rocky exit from The Fashion Show last week, but his career goes on. Andrew is currently ruling the men's underwear world with his designer boxers and briefs. Recently, Andrew Christian traveled to Seattle, WA to display his new Spring line. I had a chance to talk to the "Panty-Christ" about his time on Bravo's The Fashion Show and his current designs.

The interview was done before Daniella and the rest of the cast accused Andrew of being a copycat, no-talent designer so he doesn't talk about it at all. We do know that his one regret was not telling off Daniella when he had the chance. The most smack talk he say is that Kristin's hair was very "My Little Pony." Other than that, he supposedly got along with Johnny R., Angel and Reco, who is turning out to be a fan favorite.

Greetings, fellow TV fashion fans. Last week, the Cannes Film Festival provided BuddyTV Fashion: Behind the Seams writers Meghan Carlson and Abbey Simmons with plenty of snort and gasp-worthy ugliness. Apparently they call it Cannes because most of the clothing there should be thrown away. (Get it? Into the can. You get it. And yes, we know Cannes is in France.)

Anyway. Now we're back from France, and back to asking a certain, special as a snowflake TV actress--who has a lovely face and sculpted body and millions of dollars and fancy stylists and designers just throwing gorgeous clothes at her--why she insists on dressing so ridiculously. In other words: "What the Frock, Blake Lively?"

This morning, the girls of Cycle 12 reunited on Tyra Banks' other show to reminisce about their time on Top Model. Between chatting about the drama and friendships created on the show, one contestant shared some very big news: Tahlia Brookins announced she is pregnant.

For reasons that escape our understanding, Tyra insisted that all the girls wear bikinis on stage. (Because you know, nothing is more flattering than sitting in an arm chair in a bikini.) However, the fact that the girls were wearing itty-bitty two-pieces, allowed Tyra to ask, in her usual subtle manner, why Tahlia was clutching her stomach. "Speaking of Tahlia, you've been holding your tummy this whole time. And you're not covering your scars, because we know you're very proud of your scars. Why are you holding your stomach?" To which Tahlia responded, "I just so happen to be pregnant." In a move that is just as confusing as the insistence that the girls wear bikinis on stage, the crowd goes wild for Tahlia's news. Because, you know, 18-year-old unwed mothers are such a very good thing.

Paulina Porizkova Fired from America's Next Top Model

Looks like tomorrow's finale won't just be Allison, Aminat, and Teyona's last time on America's Next Top Model, the finale will also be judge Paulina Porizkova's last ANTM appearance. During an apperance on tonight's Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, Paulina says she was let go by Tyra Banks and America's Next Top Model.

When Craig Ferguson asked Paulina how it was working with Tyra Banks, Paulina broke the shocking news. "Listen, do you know why I am in Los Angeles...because I am looking for a job. Because I was fired by America's Next Top Model on my birthday." A birthday firing? Ouch!
