Steve-O Will Go 'Dancing with the Stars'

It seems that one of the casting rumors is true. Steve-O, the daredevil performer who gained fame for his stint on Jackass and Wildboyz, will be joining the eighth season of Dancing with the Stars, according to OK! Magazine. Following his stint in a California mental institution, where he stayed for four months for drug abuse last year, he will be returning to our small screens when the show kicks off on March 9.

Steve-O has reportedly "verbally agreed" to compete on Dancing with the Stars' eighth season last December. But as expected, ABC has refused to either confirm or deny his participation. Since then, the 34-year-old stunt-lover has been included in the controversial list of names that would possibly hit the dance floor, joining Kevin Federline, Dina Lohan, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Sherri Shepherd, Lawrence Taylor, Stevie Wonder, Jewel and Denise Richards.

WildBoyz is a spin-off of the show Jackass. The program features the stars of the previous show as they travel to exotic locales in search of adventure, such as feeding sharks as they travel to different parts of the world.
