Frank Baum's&lt;em&gt; The Wonderful Wizard of Oz&lt;/em&gt;.&amp;nbsp; The 42-year-old actor has joined the cast of ABC&amp;rsquo;s &lt;a href="http://www.buddytv.com/desperate-housewives.aspx"&gt;&lt;em&gt;Desperate Housewives&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/a&gt; as a regular next season, according to Michael Ausiello, former &lt;em&gt;TV Guide&lt;/em&gt; gossip columnist who has now taken a new post at &lt;em&gt;Entertainment Weekly.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/em&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Aside from &lt;em&gt;Tin Man&lt;/em&gt;, McDonough is also known for portraying Jack Freed on the short-lived American drama-thriller &lt;a href="http://www.buddytv.com/traveler.aspx"&gt;&lt;em&gt;Traveler&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/a&gt;.&amp;nbsp; He is also credited for his roles on M&lt;em&gt;edical Investigation, Boomtown, Band of Brothers, Murder One&lt;/em&gt;, and &lt;em&gt;The Incredible Hulk&lt;/em&gt;, just to name a few.&amp;nbsp; On the big screen, he has been cast in &lt;em&gt;They Call Him Sasquatch, Walking Tall, Silent Men, Flags of Our Fathers&lt;/em&gt; and &lt;em&gt;Perfect Little Man&lt;/em&gt;, in which he won a Jury Award for Best Actor in 1999.&lt;br /&gt;
