Although Tiara Girls is a quality program, there is a universal truth that it most undeniably proves: Beauty Pageants should be illegal. There, I said it. Is there one, single quality to them that could be considered either a) socially redeemable or, b) anything but destructive to the psyche of an adolescent girl? I can't think of any. The only reason beauty pageants even exist is to let unhappy, unfulfilled mothers live vicariously through their daughters. It's kind of awful.
