'The Two Coreys' Producer Working on New Reality Series

The executive producer of A&E's hit reality show The Two Coreys is on hand to produce a new reality show for Fox. The show, entitled Secret Millionaire, is set to hit the airwaves on December 3, with a two-hour premiere.

The show's premise is simple. An adaptation of the award-winning series The Secret Millionaire, which aired on British broadcaster Channel 4, it involves several millionaires who are dared to go undercover in some of America's poorest neighborhoods. They assume a different identity, work for really meager pay (relative to what they used to earn), and immerse themselves completely in situations beyond their comprehension. Each millionaire must work with different members of the community, and along the way learn about their determination to help each other despite having to overcome tremendous odds.

Who said only chicks like the Kardashians were the only ones to have a big sibling fight on national television? Corey Haim and Corey Feldman, though not brothers in real life, have considered themselves siblings since they became friends when they were child stars trying to make it big in the entertainment industry. Their friendship has come a long way, spawning a reality show following their lives on A&E’s The Two Coreys. However, as the debut season of the reality series came to a close, the two got into a conflict that neither of them could resolve on their own.

Earlier this year, we reported that the two are going to come back for a second season of the show despite the fragile state of their friendship. Moreover, season 2 of the series will deal with these conflicts and try to rekindle the brotherhood as they journey on in life together.

A&E Renews 'The Two Coreys' Despite Feud

Former child stars Corey Haim and Corey Feldman are on the outs, but this hasn't stopped A&E from renewing the duo's reality series, The Two Coreys.

The show's previous season ended with Haim and Feldman butting heads, and show producers claim the two have not spoken two each other since filming stopped. For the show's second run, the former buds will meet up in Los Angeles in order to see if their friendship is worth saving or not.

Corey Feldman surprises a lot of people. You might expect the ‘80s film icon to be an unruly, pompous star, but talking to him, he’s a reasonable, down-to-earth guy. The star of The Goonies and Stand by Me is now a star and creator of the new A&E “reality” series, The Two Coreys, a partially-scripted reality show about fellow kid actor Corey Haim moving in with Feldman and his wife. Feldman was responsible for bringing this show to the screen, from creation to production.

The Two Coreys premiered last night and airs every Sunday at 10pm on A&E. Along with his wife and now co-star Susie, Feldman talked with BuddyTV last week about the new show and their thoughts on another reality show they appeared on, The Surreal Life.

A&E's The Two Coreys is a new reality series that features actors Corey Feldman and Corey Haim living under one roof. Although the two have been friends for a long time, one has taken a completely different path from the other. Feldman is happily married and still acting, while Haim is single and still looking for the project that will signal his big comeback.

The two first met in 1987 on the set of the horror film, The Lost Boys, where they played a couple of young teens out to expose and destroy vampires feeding on their community. They continued to co-star in several more movies, including Dream a Little Dream 1 and 2, License to Drive, Blown Away, Busted and National Lampoon's Last Resort. Their successful tandem gave them access to all the money, fame and women they could ever want, but all these quickly disappeared when they encountered personal setbacks.
