as always, it's populism at its best. On the TV side, the nominees
often look like the top of the Nielsen ratings list, with a few notable
and surprising exceptions. Shows like True Blood and Gossip Girl crept into the Favorite TV Actress categories while Favorite Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Show features Lost, True Blood, The Vampire Diaries and Supernatural.

However, those are the very cool exceptions. For the most part, the list is full of CSI, NCIS, Grey's Anatomy, Two and a Half Men and other top-rated shows. Here are the major television nominees for this year's People's Choice Awards.

To vote for the People's Choice Awards, CLICK HERE.
'Secret Life' Star Predicts Anne-Amy Relationship Will be 'Fun'

If Secret Life of the American Teenager star Ken Baumann were to be trusted, the dynamics between pregnant Anne (Molly Ringwald) and Amy (Shailene Woodley) will be "fun" as the sophomore season of the ABC Family drama unravels and the daughter will think that her mom is a hypocrite.

"As a sassy, post-pregnant teenage girl will naturally be toward the mom if she gets pregnant too, I think she's going to feel like a little bit of her thunder was stolen ... She also starts learning Italian for Rome, while Ashley questions why she's bent on bringing baby John to Italy, reasoning that her nephew is too young to know what's going on around him anyway. Amy, meanwhile, says she wants her son to be "exposed" to other cultures as early as possible. In the end, she tells Ashley to go with Ben, her, and John to Italy to get away from everything. Ashley considers the idea and even asks her father George (Mark Derwin) to come along.

Elsewhere, Adrian (Francia Raisa) and Ricky (Daren Kagasoff) are concerned about getting more privacy, so she talks to her mother about getting a new house. This, somehow, leads to a discussion of whether or not her mom was having sex with Reuben and if so, is she pregnant (which she denies).

The Secret Life of the American Teenager: Molly Ringwald Welcomes Twins

After her onscreen daughter said hello to motherhood on The Secret Life of the American Teenager, this time it's Molly Ringwald who is, once again, saying hello to babies - not just one, but two. The Breakfast Club star gave birth to twins Friday in Los Angeles, as reported by UsMagazine.com.

The twins - daughter Adele Georgiana and son Roman Stylianos - is the latest addition to Ringwald's family, previously composed of just husband Panio Gianopoulos and 5-year-old daughter Mathilda Ereni.

The Secret Life of the American Teenager: Preview of Episode 2.4 "Ciao"

On tonight's episode of The Secret Life of the American Teenager - "Ciao" - Amy's (Shailene Woodley) sister and father Ashley and George decide to help her out with her hectic schedule. Apparently, Amy is having trouble now that she has school and a baby to look after. Elsewhere, Ben (Kenny Baumann) makes plans for the summer.

Outside her character, however, we previously reported that Woodley is having the time of her life filming with the two babies who act as her on-screen son.

'Secret Life' Star Says Working with Babies a Joy

Now that the baby is out, The Secret Life of the American Teenager star Shailene Woodley says that working without the baby bump has been good, but what she enjoys more about filming the second season of the ABC Family drama is the twin stage babies that play her son.

"It's so adorable," Woodley tells Starpulse. "They look identical. They're actually incredible. They've never screamed with me in scenes I've done with them. In an interview with The Deadbolt, Francia Raisa, the 20-year-old Latina who plays Adrian on the ABC Family drama, revealed that season 2 will bring some pretty drastic changes to her character plus the way she deals with the whole Amy (Shailene Woodley) having a baby issue.

"She gets more involved in Amy and Ricky's life and the baby's life, actually, because her and Ricky get a little more serious as far as their relationship," she says. "There's a conflict that goes on between Amy and Adrian, because Adrian is afraid that Amy is going to end up taking Ricky away because she is the mother of his baby. Then Amy is afraid that I'm going to spend so much time with the baby that the baby will consider me a mother and not her. So there's just a lot of drama that goes on between all three of us and Amy and I just don't get along."

The Secret Life of the American Teenager: Preview of 2.3 "Par for the Course"

On tonight's episode of The Secret Life of the American Teenager - "Par for the Course" - Ricky (Darren Kagasoff) tries to help Grace (Megan Park) after she withdraws from everyone. If we'd recall, she had sex with her boyfriend Jack this season, something which coincided with her dad being killed in a plane crash. She was sort of blaming herself from what happened. She was even shown laying in bed crying, trying to apologize to her dead father.

On the last episode of The Secret Life of the American Teenager, Grace was already struggling with what happened. As we saw, Grace was inconsolable; even with Adrian going over to try to help her, she still refused to get out of bed. Elsewhere on that episode, Ben (Kenny Baumann) needed to come to terms with the part that he's going to play in Amy's (Shailene Woodley) new life. After giving birth, Amy had been very grumpy, until Ben kissed her. Only she told him she didn't want to have sex any time soon.

The Secret Life of the American Teenager: Who's the Father of Anne's Baby?

The younger cast members of ABC Family's The Secret Life of the American Teenager recently appeared on Good Morning America on the occasion of the teen drama's sophomore season launch. Predictably, they answered questions about the show's purportedly controversial theme, something that had been exhausted last season. Shailene Woodley, who plays teenage mother Amy Juergens on the show, said she does not feel awkward at all about the topics they cover on the show because they're realistic.

"It's so true to life," she told weatherman Sam Champion.
