Last night, we saw 27-year-old Cody Green from Surrey, Canada being hailed the winner of the debut season of Step It Up and Dance. The alumnus of Juilliard School emerged as the successful of the four remaining contenders, with Michelle Camaya, Nick Drago and Miguel Zarate. Cody, who has extensively worked on stage, is set to appear as Nick Hoffman in the feature film Center Stage 2 and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Now that he has bagged the prize of the final call back and $100,000 cash, one of our judges has something to say about Cody and the rest of the dancers who have successfully made it to the final 12.

Step It Up and Dance has given us nine grueling episodes of hard core dancing. A few weeks ago, we saw Jessica Feltman leaving the show after she was eliminated. Through the course of the competition, she has risen to be one of the more emotional of the competitors, and she admitted to having a mental breakdown because she was really nervous. Jessica can breathe a sigh of relief now that she’s out of the competition, but we can’t say the same for those who are still in it. In fact, part two of the season finale of Step It Up and Dance will be aired tonight on Bravo, and fans cannot wait to see it.

Jessica Feltman became the third dancer to be eliminated from Bravo's Step It Up and Dance. She struggled in the first episode, running off stage in the middle of the performance, and soon became known as the emotional dancer among the cast. However, she quickly vindicated herself the next week with a strong performance in the Apache challenge.

Unfortunately, last night, she didn't have a strong enough background in hip hop to fare well in the hip hop battle challenge. Jessica spoke to BuddyTV today about how difficult it is to go from her background of classical ballet to the entirely different world of hip hop. It's Thursday night, so you know that it's time to get good and drunk in the Step It Up and Dance drinking game. The rules: take a shot every time someone says, "Step it up" or "Step up." This does not include the opening theme song, which has at least seven "Step it up"s. That would just be crazy.

Previously on Step It Up and Dance, the dancers performed a very difficult Apache dance for Cati Jean. Oscar Campisi won the Callback Performance challenge, so he has immunity tonight.

James Alsop was the second dancer to make his last dance on Bravo's reality show Step It Up and Dance. It was truly sad to see him go because he and his partner in crime, Miguel Zarate (the "Plastics," as they liked to call themselves) kept a running dialogue of catty barbs and remarks that made the show so entertaining. Unfortunately, however, James was unable to perform the difficult Apache [ah-PAWSH] dance on last night's episode as well as the judges would have liked, and he was eliminated.

Previously on Step It Up and Dance, Elizabeth Berkley took the dancers out to a Hollywood club for a surprise audition challenge with choreographer Jamie King. Janelle Ginestra was the winner of the week, while Jessica Feltman showed early on that she was going to be the show's resident basketcase. Adriana Falcon lost the elimination challenge and had to dance her last dance.

Adriana Falcon, a native of Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, became the first dancer to be sent home by the judges on Bravo's newest reality show, Step It Up and Dance.

Adriana spoke to BuddyTV today about her time on the show. She talked about her first impressions of her castmates, her dance background, her favored styles of dance and what it was like performing to the Spice Girls' song "Spice Up Your Life" in front of Scary Spice herself, Mel B.

Bravo's newest reality show Step It Up And Dance begins tonight. Twelve talented young dancers will compete for a chance to win $100,000. Along the way, they will learn what it takes to please this cruel and demanding master known as Dance.

At the beginning of the episode, the host of Step It Up and Dance, Elizabeth Berkley, and choreographer Jerry Mitchell greet the dancers in the Hollywood dance studio. Jerry will be to Step It Up and Dance what Tim Gunn is to Project Runway, a mentor and a guru.

Step It Up and Dance is Bravo's latest reality TV offering that blends elements of So You Think You Can Dance and Project Runway. It follows a similar format to the aforementioned shows, combining elimination competitions with behind-the-scenes footage of what it takes to make it in the cutthroat professional dance industry.

12 talented men and women will compete weekly against one another in a variety of dance styles on Step It Up and Dance. The dancers will be put through a series of challenges that will have them auditioning for various roles, such as a music video or a Las Vegas stage show. After the end of the competition, one contestant will emerge as the winner of the $100,000 grand prize.
