Tiffani Thiessen Won't Have Time for 'Saved by the Bell' Reunion

After several reports of a possible reunion among the cast of the hit series Saved by the Bell, the news has become unlikely. Most of the stars of the show might agree to the idea, but not Tiffani Thiessen, who was famous for her role as Kelly Kapowski. It's not that she's dismissed a reunion altogether though. She's just really busy, or so she says.

Tiffani Thiessen recently released a video of herself explaining why she can't possibly be dragged into a Saved by the Bell reunion. Unlike her co-star Mark-Paul Gosselaar who appeared The Late Show with Jimmy Fallon as his character Zack Morris, this actress is taking a step back.

Last night, Mark-Paul Gosselaar appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon as a familiar face to many children of the '80s and '90s, Zach Morris from Saved By The Bell. Morris was there to update Jimmy and America on what he's been up to since graduating high school, while Gosselaar was there to promote his work on his new TNT drama Raising the Bar, which premiered last night.

The bit was a hit with audiences and day-after Internet viewers, and included lots of nostalgic Zach-isms: the time-freeze "Time out," lots of talk about Mr. Belding and The Max, and even a Zack Attack song, backed by The Roots. Zack also informed us that he and Kelly Kapowski were married, but "Things got pretty rough after we split up. Kelly moved to a different zip code."

Teenage years have never been as fun unless they're seen on Saved by the Bell, and it looks as though we might just be able to relive all that. This August, the 90s sitcom will be celebrating its 20th anniversary, much to the delight of fans. While many are hoping that the cast will be brought together once again for a reunion, the stars seem to be at odds with each other about the idea.

Jimmy Fallon, Late Show host and star of Saved by the Bell recently took part in promoting a reunion for the hit series. He posted a petition on the website of his current program, urging audiences to support the reunion.

Mark-Paul Gosselaar got his breakthrough role as Zack Morris on the series Saved by the Bell, which spawned from the series Good Morning, Miss Bliss. He portrayed a charming schemer who was popularly known for his penchant for betting and manipulation. As a student of Bayside High School, he was actively involved in extracurricular activities such as sports clubs, music gigs, class field trips and dances. His circle of friends mainly consisted of Kelly Kapowski, Samuel "Screech" Powers, A.C. Slater (Mario Lopez), Jessie Spano, and Lisa Turtle.
