Angela and Vanessa Simmons aren't the only ones making a name for themselves these days on Run's House. Rev. Run's second son, Daniel Simmons, popularly known as "Diggy" is also making the news these days for his blog called "Life of the Jet Setter."

There's really nothing extraordinary about Diggy Simmons' "Life of the Jet Setter" but that fact that he's only 14 years old and has a massive following makes the entire thing even more interesting.

As part of MTV's new ambitious programming schedule, the network has green lit Daddy's Girls, a spin-off of the family-themed reality series Run's House. After five seasons, fans have witnessed Vanessa and Angela Simmons grow up before their eyes under Rev. Run's roof. Soon, viewers will watch the sisters as they make a permanent move to Los Angeles while they take a step toward independence.

Daddy's Girls will feature the sisters as they set up a west coast office and showroom for their successful pastry tennis shoe and apparel line. It also follows Vanessa as she pursues her acting career. The 8,500-square-foot Saddle River mansion, which includes six bedrooms, a lagoon style pool, a hot tub, a movie theater, a recording studio and an indoor half-basketball court, has been a familiar site to fans of Run's House since 2005 given that the house serves as the backdrop for the MTV program. But because the house has been re-listed, the sixth season of Run's House may have to film elsewhere.

Darryl McDaniels, aka DMC, might want to put a call in to his former bandmate and friend, Reverend Joseph “Run” Simmons. After all, the reverend is probably tight with the big guy upstairs. McDaniels was admitted to a hospital in New Jersey where he will undergo surgery for two serious blood clots. He has already pulled out of his upcoming scheduled appearances in order to take time to rest and recuperate. McDaniels had been complaining of pain and swelling in his left arm. When he consulted with doctors, they immediately sent him to the hospital to be treated.

While Rev. Run is presently filming the new season of MTV's Run's House, he is also working on the upcoming film Rap Therapy, a documentary about the life and mission of Blake Le Vine. With a tagline that says “the music will save your soul,” the movie attempts to take viewers into the world of social work and of course, hip-hop music.

Directed by Blake Le Vine himself, Rap Therapy follows Le Vine as a licensed social worker known as The Rap Therapist who helps a group of children in foster care heal by using hip hop music to deal with their pain. The children end up performing for their foster families and some major celebrities.

The Rock and Roll Revival Tour continues full steam ahead. Last week, we reported that Kid Rock's currently touring show, which features Run's House's Reverend Run as one of the guest performers, added playdates at DTE Music Center in Clarkston, Michigan. We've reported quite a bit about Joseph Simmons, Run of hip-hop trio Run-DMC and now more familiar to televiewers as Reverend Run on MTV's Run's House, and his string of concerts alongside Kid Rock in the latter's Rock and Roll Revival Tour. One of their more recent stops was in Bristol, Tennessee, where the traveling show performed at Viking Hall on March 14.

The Run's House patriarch chatted with WJBF-TV by phone ahead of that performance. In that interview, the Reverend raved about the show, the Kid, his reality series and life as he knows it now – wonderfully diverse and complete.
