It's no secret that Privileged star Joanna Garcia has booked a multiple-episode arc on Gossip Girl a love interest for Chace Crawford's Nate Archibald but her story line is being kept under wraps. Still, that hasn't stopped curious fans from wondering what's in store for her character Bree Buckley, who is being described by various websites as a cheeky politically progressive, "slightly evil Miss America-type who hails from a conservative Southern family."

In an interview with Latina.com, Garcia clarifies something about her Gossip Girl character and dishes on what's it like to kiss one of the show's hunks.

Kevin, Joe, and Nick, also known as The Jonas Brothers, will be ushering TV viewers to a night of teen dramas and rock and roll when they serve as hosts on The CW on Tuesday, February 10 at 8pm ET/PT. The two-hour special will kick off with 90210's 16th episode called “Of Heartbreaks and Hotels,” which is also the series' Valentine's Day-themed episode. Then the drama continues at 9pm when Robert Buckley (Lipstick Jungle) and Jennifer Elise Cox (The Brady Bunch Movie) guest star in the 16th episode of Privileged entitled “All About Betrayal.”

But aside from acting as hosts for the night, the Jonas Brothers will also offer a sneak peek of their new film, Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience, which will hit theaters on February 27. For this special promo, 90210 star Jessica Lowndes will be joining the rock trio as the brothers talk about their experience working in 3D, show never-before-seen footages, and a clip of the group performing their hit song “Tonight.”

Megan tries to get Lily out of jail.

After learning that her sister Lily (Kristina Apgar) is in jail, Megan (JoAnna Garcia) rushes to be with her and find out why she was arrested. Lily insists she knew nothing about the backpack full of drugs found in her hotel room, but her new husband is missing and she needs $25,000 for bail. Megan takes Will (Brian Hallisay) along when she relays the bad news about Lily to her parents, Arthur (guest star John Allen Nelson) and Shelby (guest star Sharon Lawrence), and although Will offers to pay Lily's bail, Arthur decides that Lily needs to be frightened into cleaning up her life, and refuses to let anyone bail her out. A heartbroken Megan has to tell Lily that she has to remain in jail. Later, Shelby arranges a secret meeting with Will and convinces him to give her the bail money, leading to an argument with Megan and a shock for everyone over Shelby's actions. Meanwhile, Rose (Lucy Kate Hale) helps Sage (Ashley Newbrough) pick out an expensive gift for Luis (guest star Ignacio Serricchio) and they are baffled by his reaction.

There's a lot of returning shows to look forward to this winter and Privileged is one of the dramas on many teens' lists. The adaptation of the popular Zoey Dean novel How to Teach Filthy Rich Girls centers on 23-year-old Yale graduate Megan Smith whose plan to conquer the world of journalism is thrown off course when she becomes the live-in tutor of the twin teen granddaughters of a wealthy cosmetics mogul in Palm Beach, Florida.

Last time on Privileged, Megan received an unexpected visit from her mother just as she was finally beginning to adjust having a relationship with her father. On the other hand, Sage tried to resist her feelings for Luis and Will found it difficult to comprehend Megan's family issues.

EW's Michael Ausiello just got us the scoop that could blow the Will versus Charlie debate on the CW's Privileged wide open. In fact, this juicy bit of news spells the end for one of these two hunky boys who are both after the heart of our fair heroine, Megan Smith (JoAnna Garcia).

Michael Cassidy, who plays Charlie on Privileged, will be leaving the show. His final appearance will be in the show's 15th episode, entitled “All About the Big Picture,” when Charlie decides to go back to college. Cassidy has decided to leave Privileged for both creative and budgetary reasons.

Last we checked on Privileged, Megan got a surprise visit from her mother, just as she was getting used to having a semblance of relationship with her dad. Meanwhile, Sage decided to fight her feelings for Luis, and Will had difficulty of dealing with Megan's family issues. The CW series had been reigning in during its Monday timeslot since premiering September 9.

Meanwhile, new father and Fall Out Boy Pete Wentz will guest star in an upcoming episode of Privileged. Wentz, 29, has previously appeared in a multi-episode arc on One Tree Hill and Californication. Wentz will appear in the show's 14th episode, most likely to be the first of 2009, alongside Ashley Newbrough and Lucy Hale.

BuddyTV interviews Rina Mimoun, the executive producer of Privileged.

Rina Mimoun is my favorite person in Hollywood right now. I think she's a genius. I've been a long-time fan of hers ever since her work on seminal WB shows, such as Dawson's Creek, Gilmore Girls, and of course, Everwood. Now, she is the brains behind my favorite freshman series this year, Privileged.

I was fortunate enough to talk to her about her new show, and I learned that she is not just a talented writer and executive producer, but she is also so energetic and passionate about her work. She really believes in what she does, and it shows on screen every week. Talking to her, I found her to be immensely down-to-earth and relatable. At times, talking to her felt more like gushing with a fellow fan-girl rather than interviewing a successful executive producer. But I guess that's how she is able to hit the exact tones in her storytelling to really make us care about her characters.

I promised her that I would do what I can to get the word out there, so here it is, folks. Watch Privileged tonight, on the CW at 9pm. And then watch it next week, and the week after that, and the week after that. Don't stop watching this show. I promise you, you will not be sorry.

'Privileged' Welcomes Ignacio Serricchio in Recurring Role

It seems as if the Baker twins are going to be getting some romance. Maybe not both of them at once, but Sage is all set for some spice in her life. TVGuide has revealed that General Hospital's Ignacio Serricchio will be joining the cast of Privileged as the romantic interest of Ashley Newbrough's character.

Sources have confirmed that Ignacio Serrichio has booked a recurring role on the CW series, and will be having a lot of encounters with the raging Sage. He will first appear on the tenth episode of Privileged, titled “All About Overcompensating.” In order to interact with Sage, he has to get into the house. It turns out that he's related to Charlie (Michael Cassidy) and wants to be a chef.

Privileged is the best new show on TV this season that you might not be watching. Let me tap into my inner Joe Biden and repeat that for you once more: Privileged is the BEST new show on TV this season that you might not be watching.

Now, you might dismiss Privileged as just another show about rich, white kids and turn the channel, but then you would be doing a disservice, not only to this genuinely enjoyable, whip-smart show, but to yourself as well. You would be missing out on the wonderfully quirky characters, the complicated relationships and the great storytelling.

In my mind, the best part of the show is the lead actress, JoAnna Garcia. I've been a fan of JoAnna's since her days as Vicki Appleby on Freaks and Geeks and again on Reba. She brings an entirely believable warmth and intelligence to her Privileged character, Megan Smith, a recent Yale grad who becomes the tutor to two spoiled, billionaire twins. Megan, a plucky, red-headed heroine, is sort of like a modern-day Anne Shirley, who is so genuinely likeable that you forgive her for the scrapes she gets into.

On last week's episode of Privileged, Megan (Joanna Garcia) was seen in a horrible new light when cosmetics mogul Laurel (Anne Archer) discovered that she lied to her about her slutty and bitter sister Lily (Kristina Apgar). Things got even more complicated in the final scene when Megan, while leaving a sort of cease-fire voicemail message for her sister, sees her kissing her hot neighbor Will (Brian Hallisay) in the beach.

Meanwhile, the twins, ever playful and oh-so-adorable, sneaked out when they were supposed to be doing their outlines, crashed Megan's car, bribed a police officer, and nearly got arrested.

Tonight's Privileged continues at the fancy dress charity ball that ended last week's episode. Laurel Limoges (Anne Archer) has taken Megan under her wing to meet and schmooze with high-powered society types. After espying Megan's trashy sister making a splash at the party, Laurel disgustedly wrinkles her nose. Megan pretends not to know Lily at all. Tonight's Privileged is all about honesty, indeed.

Producer: 'Privileged' is Like 'Gilmore Girls' Teaching 'Gossip Girl'

If the CW is to be believed, despite finishing second to last among the overall 18-34 demographic, its Tuesday line-up of 90210 and the premiere of Privileged still managed dominate that night among its target demographic: females 18 to 34 years old. According to the network's press release, 90210 ranked as Tuesday's number one show for females 18-34, and Privileged retained the “vast majority” of its 90210 lead-in.

Concurrently, there are mixed reviews on the premiere of Privileged. The positive ones emphasized good acting on the part of its main star JoAnna Garcia (Reba), who plays Megan Smith, the Yale graduate who appears to be living a fairy tale after being scooted off on a private jet to post Palm Beach after she was fired and her New York apartment caught on, well, fire. On the other hand, the negative reviews, as expected, ganged up on Privileged's close resemblance to Gossip Girl, “a show that still garners more headlines than viewers,” and CW's “second rate” attempt to duplicate it's only relative hit.
