For most stars, having a go on the reality TV roller coaster just once is enough. America's Next Top Model Cycle 1 winner Adrianne Curry reportedly missed out on a Costa Rica adventure intentionally. It's been reported that she and her husband turned down the offer to go on the NBC competition I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here.

While the second season of the show has already come and gone, it's still worth noting that the fashion model didn't want anything to do with it. Earlier on, there was plenty of comings and goings on I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here - particularly that of Spencer and Heidi Pratt. Apparently, the program's executives thought Adrianne Curry and Christopher Knight would like to fill in. They blatantly refused.

With all the wild behavior the celebrities showed in the wild, a lot of memories managed to emerge. Even though the antics of Speidi and Janice Dickinson come to mind, one thing still stands out among them. That is, the simple fact that it was Lou Diamond Phillips who won the competition. He didn't need to act as crazy as the rest of them to be noticed by the viewers, leading him to victory.

"It's such a ridiculous honor," the 47-year-old actor announced during a conference call. "I was stunned by it. I certainly didn't assume anything." He bested finalists John Salley and Torrie Wilson, earning the renowned I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here title "King of the Jungle."

The three weeks of I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here just flew by, and the whole ordeal is over at last. There's plenty of time to reminisce, but this is a moment for celebration. Actor Lou Diamond Phillips is indeed the winner of the season, and now has claim to the title "King of the Jungle."

There were three finalists going head to head on the last episodes of the competition - Torrie Wilson, John Salley, and Lou Diamond Phillips. The final challenge they had to put up with was truly disgusting, like it was pulled straight out of a Fear Factor clip. It seemed like regurgitated food is what's cooking in Costa Rica.

Who would've thought the great Stephen Baldwin would exit from the Costa Rican jungle and cite tiny critters as the reason? It was reported earlier that the actor had departed from I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here for undisclosed reasons. He became the fourth to voluntarily leave, and now we know why. Insects.

According to The Associated Press, Stephen Baldwin found a bigger problem with the environment than the man-made challenges presented to them. He announced that he quit the competition over the weekend because he received more than 125 insect bites in the span of eight days.

The jungle is spewing out celebrity after celebrity, as yet another star has decided to quit the competition. According to Access Hollywood, actor Stephen Baldwin has left the Costa Rica set of I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here.

While he was pegged as a favorite among the contestants, he could no longer stay in. Reasons for his departure have not yet been released, but we'll find out what really happened when the final week of the series begins.

It looks as though Janice Dickinson is not going the same way as Speidi. After being rushed out of Costa Rica to receive medical treatment for a viral infection, the model decided to remain in the competition for I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here.

It was discovered that Dickinson entered the show while suffering from bronchitis. Throughout the contest, she confessed to being very uncomfortable due to hunger, and even admitted that she felt "backed up." Her fellow contenders shared her pain, but tried to help out the best they could.

These celebs may be getting physically sick in the jungles of Costa Rica, but we're definitely getting sicker watching them. The Hills star Heidi Montag has been reportedly hospitalized due to her participation on the reality competition I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here. Sources say that it's an "undisclosed illness" that's keeping her from playing on the show, but it's probably just her elitist attitude.

Apparently, it was the Lost Chamber challenge that made it worse for Heidi Montag. The shame of begging for their spot back on the show wasn't enough punishment for her and husband Spencer Pratt. They had to be locked in a room filled with a variety of vermin, which we think is more than necessary.

While it looked like Spencer might have really decided to go through with it, he and his wife just upped and left. These two simply won't quit quitting.

Despite the complaints that there are hardly any real stars on I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here, the reality series managed to top the ratings during the night of its premiere. The show led NBC to tie for the win among adults aged 18-49. It was also deemed broadcast TV's #1 program in primetime Monday night among adults aged 18-34. While it seems as though the series has its merits, one can't help but question the numbers.

I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here premiered at 8pm on Monday for a 2-hour episode, debuting to 6.4 million viewers overall. Was it curiosity that brought the audiences in? Perhaps they were all wondering how the survival story of Speidi and the rest of the cast would unfold, testing the waters to see if the series really is worth the hype.

NBC should have stuck with its winning franchise name, The Biggest Loser, and subtitled it Semi-Celebrity Edition for this overblown summertime show.

Spencer Pratt whined on the premiere episode of I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here that the lack of high-profile people on the series was devaluing his fame. This coming from a guy who most NBC viewers wouldn't know even if he was standing next to them in a supermarket line.
