'Hole in the Wall' Kicks Off Tonight

Earlier this week, FOX gave us a sneak preview of Hole in the Wall, the United States version of the Japanese game show in which contestants have to twist their bodies into shapes so that they'll fit through holes in an approaching wall, or crash into the wall and fall into a pool of water. Tonight at 8pm, the game show hits the screens full blast as it airs its first episode.

Hosted by Brooke Burns (Dog Eat Dog) and Mark Thompson (Guinness World Records: Primetime), Hole in the Wall is a body-bending game that requires speed and agility to survive. Throughout the series, two teams of three compete against each other in multiple rounds of play, facing various barrier walls speeding toward them with odd and wacky cut-out shapes. Of course, the challenges don't get any easier. As players struggle to strike a pose, points and dignity can be easily lost with a simple miscalculation. They may also be swept away into a pool below.

Japanese game show fans are in for a treat again come September, as American Idol producers FremantleMedia North America are bringing us the latest and wackiest game show titled Hole in the Wall. The show, which premieres on Thursday, September 11 at 8pm on FOX, will be airing special previews on Sunday, September 7 following the first NFL doubleheader of the season and Tuesday, September 9, following the series premiere of Fringe. Hole in the Wall will air its hour-long premiere on Thursday, September 11 on FOX.

Hole in the Wall is globally popular game show which requires participants to twist their backs and come up with the craziest stunts to fit into a human puzzle. Hilarity results when panic sets in and forces the contestants to come up with creative ways to fit into the puzzle.
