When Ally McBeal
introduced the dancing baby it was both creepy and intriguing. To this
day I can still see Calista Flockhart in her pajamas dancing along side
it. Well, the dancing baby, and the entire cast of Ally McBeal, are back with the release of The Complete Series on DVD. And guess what, BuddyTV is giving away Ally McBeal: The Complete Series to one lucky reader. That's not all either. We also have an additional 5 copies of Season One to give away.

For the first time ever, you can watch the Emmy and Golden Globe winning show that launched Brothers & Sisters star, Calista Flockhart's, career. Not to mention the series starred Arrested Development's Portia de Rossi, Charlie's Angels Lucy Liu and Iron Man's Robert Downey Jr. Ally McBeal: The Complete Series
includes a lot more than just every episode to ever air with all its
original music. It's loaded with bonus features like a new
retrospective and behind the scenes footage. Plus, remember that music
we all know and love? Well, The Complete Series also includes a Best of Soundtrack. So how do you enter? While the convention does not technically start until Thursday, each year they have a "Preview Night" for those attending the full 4-day event. Preview Night typically has no panels or special autographs, but it does give people the chance to explore the exhibit hall and become familiar so they can hit the ground running first thing Thursday morning.
Five Great Moments in TV Karaoke

When done right, karaoke can be an art unto itself, combining great
singing with glorious stage presence. When done wrong, as it is most
of the time, it's painful and annoying. While Simon Cowell frequently
uses "karaoke singer" as an insult, sometimes the best musical moments
come from a person on stage with a microphone and words on a screen.

Karaoke can play a crucial role on television shows. Sometimes it's
there for a simple joke, sometimes it provides a chance to show off,
and at its best, it's used as a key moment in a character's emotional
development.
'Arrested Development' Actors Will 'Sit Down' with FOX in April

Will the Arrested Development movie ever see the light of day? That's a question that only time will tell as producers Mitch Hurwitz and Ron Howard are still trying to close deals for their much-awaited project.
Premiering on April 19 on FOX, Sit Down, Shut Up marks the latest animated comedy joining the network's Sunday Animation Domination lineup. The show revolves around the dysfunctional faculty and staff at a high school in a small Florida fishing town who care more about their own insecurities and agendas than about the needs of their students. The series is also based on the hit live-action Australian series with animation set against a live-action backdrop, and attempts to satirize modern society and most formative authority figures: teachers.

TV's Most Unique Families

BuddyTV's running a special feature on all of the wonderfully unique families on TV.
TV families always seem to be more interesting than our own. In fact, they're never normal. At one point or another, we'll all wished to be a part of some imaginary clan.
This marks the most solid Arrested Development movie update so far. In the past, there have been hints that a film based on the series was in the works with merely cast members backing it up. However, fans have rolled their eyes at every tease.

Top 15 Places to Eat on TV: #13 Bluth's Frozen Banana Stand, 'Arrested Development'

BuddyTV picks the top 15 places to grab a bite with our favorite TV restaurants.
On a hot day on the boardwalk, there's no better refreshing treat than a frozen banana covered in chocolate and nuts. Raising a son as a single father can't be easy, especially when you're Michael Bluth (Jason Bateman), trying to balance fatherly duties with managing one of the most dysfunctional families ever put on TV in Arrested Development. Michael tries his hardest to be a good guy in a genetic pool infested by amorality. Though finding love is often a problem for him (unless it's with a mentally retarded British woman), Michael doesn't let that fruitless pursuit interfere with spending time with his son. Whether they're using the Corn Baller or selling frozen bananas, the Bluth boys are sure to be having a good time.

'Arrested Development' Alum Joins the Cast of 'Chuck'

For fans of Arrested Development, the mourning process is never over. Though the high concept comedy lasted three brilliant seasons, it's hard not to feel like it was cut off far too soon. So it's always exciting to hear when a member of its talented ensemble cast gets more work.

This time it's Baby Buster's turn to get a shot at a hit as Tony Hale joins the cast of Chuck during its second season.
No one should mistake Arrested Development's Lucille Bluth (Jessica Walter) for a good mother. In one episode, she goes so far as to admit “I don't care for GOB,” one of her sons. Yet in the second season, when Buster is about to be sent to the war in Iraq (which, it should be noted, she signed him up for), Lucille prays for divine intervention to keep her baby boy safe. It's perhaps the only motherly act she performs throughout the entire series, and it results in Buster having his hand bitten off (by a loose seal), but still, Lucille is too brilliant a character to leave off this list.

April 20 is as close as we come to having a Nation Weed Smoking Day in this country, so what better way to celebrate here at BuddyTV than to reflect on our favorite pot-smoking television characters. Well, I imagine you could think of one or two better ways.

For this list, we've put together five of our favorite television characters with reefer madness. Sure, there are many characters who've experimented, such as Seth Cohen from The O.C. or Ross on Friends, but for this list, we wanted honest-to-God, red-blooded, bong lovers. And indeed, we've found characters who all have a need...a need for weed.

Fox Pilot Springs 'Arrested Development' Reunion

Jason Bateman, Will Arnett and Henry Winkler will soon be reuniting in yet another Mitch Hurwitz's creation. However, their reunion won't be taking place in the much-awaited Arrested Development film given that the movie won't be hitting the theaters anytime soon. This time, Hurwitz, who created the sitcom about a formerly wealthy and habitually dysfunctional family, has enlisted three of the show's veterans for his new animated FOX comedy series.

Sit Down, Shut Up, which is based on a live-action Australian series, is Hurwitz's latest pilot after working on Arrested Development and serving as writer to the show The Thick of It. The animated comedy revolves around a group of high school teachers who care more about their own insecurities and agendas than about the needs of their students.

What Are They Up To?
