Dunbar Flinn is a citizen of the United States, who appears as a cast member in the latest season of MTV’s reality television series, The Real World: Sydney. He was 22 years old during the time of the show’s filming. A native of Natchez, Mississippi, he has been described as a stereotypical southern fraternity boy, though he ostensibly changed his ways and became more mature in the face of a crisis. After his family was rendered destitute because of a money-laundering scandal, he had no choice but to take charge of his own life and depend on himself to earn his keep, and pay his way for his education.
Flinn enlisted for military service in order to earn and save money for his college fund, eventually being able to attend and advance to higher learning. He has also been called an articulate and strongly opinionated conversationalist on a wide range of topics, ranging from poetry to politics and literature. On the other hand, he also tends to be hot-headed, as well as possessing an arrogant streak. And while he’s seemingly not being quite the type for a close relationship, he’s actually strongly devoted and loyal to his girlfriend waiting back home.
