Born March 6, 1963, D.L. Hughley grew up in South Central LA and was introduced early into gang life. After his cousin was shot, he turned his life around and began life as a stand-up comedian. His career now speaks for itself; a number of comedy specials and DVD's, a couple of his own TV shows, and a proud member of “The Original Kings of Comedy�.
