Twenty Thousand Streets under the Sky

A trilogy of unrequited love stories set in London in the thirties. A good story by Patrick Hamilton. Well made on a budget by the BBC. The acting by all was superb and like Bob in the the story I fell for Jennie (Zoe) I took to the scene in the pub when she was being questioned by Bob wny she didn't turn up for their dates and he called her a prostitute. Her mood had changed drastically from their meeting on the common "A prostitute am I" and she snatched up her handbag and belongings and walked out ignoring Bob's pleas to stay. This drama should have won an award
