Love without a trace. Watched the episode 'white balance' about the 2 missing teens, one white girl who got lots of media coverage and more agents, and one black boy who got one agent (Viv) and no coverage. At the very end, one was dead and the other alive. They found a body in the trunk of a car, and Elena Delgado called it in the jack - couldn't hear what she said - music over was too loud, or it was deliberately mumbled to keep us all on edge. So, which kid died???? anyone know???

The point was that it could have been either of them. The viewer fills in the blank. I see the title, "white balance," suggesting that even with the skewed media coverage based on race--and perhaps gender--that in the end it doesn't matter because anyone can be killed. I see that as the balance; they were equally susceptible despite racial and economic advantages for the white family.
