The original "Adam" was a love to hate evil character; this sad replacement doesn't do evil; simply tries to act evil - he doesn't fit the role!

so true!!! The first Adam was amazing. He fit in the show with ease. The new Adam is ok . . . but doesn't compare. I think the original Adam must have left the show because he didn't want to play the upcoming role they had in store for the character. That's my guess, and he made a good choice.
