Why or what is the purpose of this show? I 've watched a few episodes and I'm not understanding the reason for this show or any of the other "Real Housewive" shows. Please explain this for me. Thank you.

this show is on to make the rest of us feel better .. these women are SO SAD, so FAKE, their kids are IGNORED .. Lisa has two other children that she can't even have on the show, Sheree has a 23 year old daughter that she has DENIED and refers to as her friend, she was 15 when she had her .. this show is a HOT MESS, they are losers with some $$$

Another purpose is to entertain. Many people are going through great stress in their lives and wish that they had money, as if that would be the answer to all of their problems. Now, they can see from this show that having money in no way makes you a better or more dignified person. So now, people under stress will not add to it by envying those living in the big, beautiful homes that they drive past. They will see that for all that, they are still low class, cheap, inarticulate, trash.

Ok thanks. So in a nut shell it's all about some females that have issues and money. But the real reason is to waste electricity. I think I've watched it 3 times. I can honestly say that I am glad of one thing. And that's the fact that I have the freedom to choose what I want to watch. It truly saddens me that these women appear to have nothing else to do except to put their personal issues on national tv. Entertainment I don't think so. I feel the same way about the so called talk shows. I certainly wish that Donahue was still on. He was on in my childhood days and had meaningful educational topics. The current shows are educational too. Well atleast they are to me. They say this is what you don't do.
