It seems every time that you start to really enjoy the program the season is suddenly over. Perhaps I am wrong, but it feels like you only get three quarters of a season of episodes. Then they throw you four or five episodes around the holidays. The show is a success, so give us the full number of episodes.

The Closer has always had special seasons. You get most of the episodes in the summer, then a few at around Christmas time. Season 7 will be different, as we will get some even into the Summer of 2012 to prepare for the spin off show. I think this had to do with Kyra, and the fact that she lives on the East Coast most of the time and wanted to be there for her kids, who are now in college.

It is hard to believe the Capt. Rayder character could carry out a good spin off. She is neither personable or sexy. A good supporting character though.
