With the closure of season 5 upon us - do you want a 6th season?

Friday, December 18, 2009 7:32 PM Report
The are planning on answering all the questions that have been lingering these past 5 seasons. So if all questions have been answered (i.e. Sam's abilities and why him, the whole family connection). If the answer to the question is yes? Then what kind of storyline would you go with. Would you still want the angels in the story? Where would you go from here? After all we are meeting Lucifer and possibly GOD. It is the epic battle. I do not want Supernatural to end, but I can not think of a whole new direction for the writers to go in (without redoing previous storylines). Just thought it would be fun to bounce ideas off each other.

I absolutely want a season 6 - after resolving the God/angels versus Lucifer/demon conflict - our boys will be the best hunters of all time and their bond will be unbreakable - What to do then? Mate - make kids to protect - keep evil at bay - gather other hunters, cass, the boy witht he demon father etc. to protect against some huge force like a coalition of evil vampires/werewolves/witches etc.

I did not even think about the family aspect. I mean dean definitely wants a family. We could go with the family of hunters. The delima - do what John did to them or hide the evil away from them. That does sound like a good idea. I wonder who would Dean choose to marry.

I'd say Lisa calls Dean and he goes to see her and Ben and they have a sexual and emotional reunion after which she tells Dean that she had lied to him before and that Ben is really his son. She tells him that she is dying of a brain tumor and begs him to take Benso the boy can at least have his father. Dean takes Ben to stay with Bobby when he is on the road and to give him a more normal life - It gives more family to protect - Bobby a reason to be there and Sam a protective uncle role too. Also would like Sam to have an on aain off again affair with Sara the art dealer. Protection of loved ones vital to the guys - My suggestion

As much as I love the show, I dont think they could top the epic battle they are headed for...I mean, the show has worked its way up to this point, it would be a mistake to do a season 6...it would be like most sequels and ruin a good thing! Its driving me nuts waiting for the rest of season 5...I thought I was pretty good at predicting what was coming, but this season has really thrown me off! This has got to be the BEST show ever in my opinion! The story lines seem cheesy and dumb but these guys can pull off anything and make it work so good! Thank you so much for this great show guys! I will always be a huge fan!!

We can hope that they read these sites of their fans - I am a writer and I know that they dont have to end it - angels and demons are not the end all -after all Kripke was all about American lore and there is a lot of that they have not covered yet - so I offer up my ideas (free) because I love the series and hate to see it ended for lack of ideas.

I'm having trouble believing we are going to get real closure at the end of this season! The story will be over but can they really wrap up and give closure to the boys in the remaining 12 episodes esp with everything else going on around them? The thing I'm most concerned about is Sam, he's supposed to be on the journey for redemption this season and so far have we really seen any sign that he's going to get it? And with the spoilers for what's to come and the inevitability of saying YES, it really doesnt look like Sam is going to get any closer to redeeming himself! And unless God personally comes along and gives Sam his forgiveness I dont see him ending up anywhere other than hell or having his soul destroyed if he were to die at the end of the season. Do boy's with demon blood in them really get to go to heaven? Dean on the other hand I'm not so concerned about if he dies he'll almost certainly end up there, he is after all the hero and moral compass of the show and Michael's vess

cont-vessel to boot. He has most certainly booked his ticket to heaven! I feel like Sam's running out of time and unless GOD personally comes out of hiding and forgives Sam then we wont really get closure for his character! There is an epsiode where Sam and Dean die and go to heaven (spoiler) but I think that will be sooner than the fianle. Maybe they will alay all my fears and tie up all the loose ends but 12 epsiodes doesnt seem long enough to me! (I'm thinking that if they dont die at the end of the season then they'll ride of into the sunset for the next hunt and we'll have to make up what happens next ourselves). But if we do get a season 6 I dont really want to see the boys fall in love and settle down and defo no kids! That would kill the show! A boring relationship drama it is not and will never be, hopefully! There will always be something to hunt and with Kripke's brilliant mind and the awesome writing team I'm sure they can come up with something epic to entertain us!
