I am in the land of confusion due to this new element. Nothing is ever just a off comment. Everything is connected to the biggest revelation to the insignificant qoute. So what did Michael mean by he took care of lucifer?

I was thinking maybe it has to do with the fact that Michael also said that he doesn't want to hurt Lucifer any more then Dean wants to hurt Sam. Lucifer is Michael's brother. Someone mentioned that Dean took care of Sam when their father was out hunting. Maybe God wasn't present and because of that Michael had to take care of Lucifer. Also, maybe Michael was supposed to kill Lucifer instead of just cast him into hell. I don't think this question will go unanswered. Kripke has some serious explaining to do. I can't wait to find out what this small comment really means. I do see it playing a major part in Michael trying to convince Dean to say, yes.

supernaturalBandit - I was thinking the exact same thing. Especially because Gabriel said in "Changing Channels" - as it is in heaven so shall it be on earth. So it was make sense that Michael took care of Lucifer while GOD was MIA. I can not wait for these questions to be answered. I also cannot wait to see if Michael and Lucifer meet.

I think Michael, as Dean has done, has done everything to save his little brother. He loves him and did everything he could to prevent his fall
