I can't beleive they have fired Rebecca. Liz is a central character on the show and whether you hate her or love her she is connected to everyone and has major story potential. She has been part of 2 MAJOR triangles that still have fans clamoring for reunions and she has either been friends or enemy's with everyone else. I loved the rivilry between her and Maxie and now that Maxie and Lulu are friends she needs someone to go against. If the show doesn't want to pair her with Lucky (my choice) or Jason then why not develop a triangle with Liz, Maxie and Matt. It would give more story to M&M and I would much rather see this than more people talking about the Balkan and what a big threat he is.
