mona doesnt seem likely to be A. im pretty positive that A is a guy. i also think that A and the killer r two different people.

this is the whole story....A is mona...she'll die whens spencer pushes her off of a cliff.Alison is alive and she will be the new A...the person that died was Alison's twin Courtney..she had a fight with Ali because she liked to pretend to be Ali..ali killed her but their parents thought it was Ali who died and so Courtney(Ali) was sent away to a mental institution....she will eventually come back in the end....NB: this is what happens in the books...but i guess that some of this will also be in the show too...hope i helped in clearing up the confusion:P
