What does everyone think about the final season being so short? Are you excited? I am sad that Peyton won't be back. It has not been the same for me since Lucas and Peyton left.

OTH is coming back for its final season 9 on Jan 11th 2012. Sad to see your show end after 9 years when you get so attached to these characters:( Que sera, sera....

I have'nt really watched the show on a regular basis since Lucas and Peyton left. It breaks my heart theat Peyton will not return in the final season so I probably won't watch.

Don't get me wrong I absolutely love One Tree Hill and I am sad to say I am only watching the last season as I have watched all the others. Seriously I would have given up otherwise, this season is awful! Poorly written and scripted, very predictable, feels like they are re-covering old ground but at the same time desperate for new stories that do not 'fit' or 'feel' like One Tree Hill. I am also missing Lucas (his general presence as well as his voiceovers) and while I am not Peyton's biggest fan I would like to see her return and also see Sawyer. The show was great in the early days at and I did think the show was getting better after they had left high school up to a point but now not so much.
