yeah that's a great idea. and how about a twist like at first they would thought that gibbs is falling for that girl and Tony will get jealous coz he did not know that she was gibbs daughter and they keep it a secret until finally they will reveal her real identity. nice

even better gibbs finally reveals abby is really his DAUGHTER and gloria (abby's mom)adopted her because gibbs and shannon felt they were too young when she was born and he kept track of her progress over the years and that is why she's so loyal and he's so protective of her

Ugh...no, just no. Kelly was Gibbs' daughter & he's never gotten over either Shannon's death or hers. To give him a long lost child or reveal Abby as his daughter just takes the show further into soap opera land and cheapens the characters even more than they've already attempted to destroy them this season.

i agree with as14783.. it wouldnt be very original. abby and gibbs have such a unique relationship, i wouldnt want anything to change the way we view it. and also, it would DEFINITELY screw up tiva
