I agree Nancy. As I have been watching the trailers for the new year, I also wonder of they are letting Bobby go. Gorin is the show. I am sure Vincent might want to do something else but I hope his fans can keep him alive. Patty

I agree Nancy. Bobby is the show and as I see the trailers for the new year I too have wondered if Gorin is getting out of the show. I hope the fans of Vincent can keep him going. I'll probably quit watching too. Jeff's character is too slow and dull for me. So, I hope Gorin is still in.

Since we now know that Vincent d'Onofrio/Kathryn Erbe will not be returning to L&O, does anyone know why?

I most likely will try the new show, but with the old ast leaving, not likely to stick with it. I really liked the cast. Goren kept me watching.

I am a law and order aholic. I had severe withdrawals when they changed the cast of the original law and order. I seldom watch it now. L&O CI and SVU became the ones I survived on. Now that Goren and Eames are leaving, I might have to go into counseling. Being a former law enforcement person myself, I could identify with those shows. I will have to stick with Olivia and Elliott on SVU. It is a shame that good shows whose cast members make the show, get killed off or the show is cancelled. All those stupid reality shows remain on the air. They have absolutely no artistic or social value. I am mad as hell and we fans should let the execs know we won't take it anymore. I feel as if I loosing part of my family.

I still cannot believe this to be true. I have been a Goren and Eames supporter from the beginning. He is brilliant and there is no comparison and/or substitute for him in that role. They are fools to think otherwise. They will lose a large audiance because of this blunder.

I'll try to express the fullness of my disappointment at "Goren" and "Eames" departure. I have to say that while his "Talk Radio" was brilliant, I was never a fan of Eric Begosian in his role in L&O/CI. This all stands to prove that there is nothing so successful that management can't foul it up. Vincent D'Onofrio's "Goren" was the best quirky genius detective since Basil Rathbone's portrayal of Sherlock Holmes. I'll leave the parallels in demeanor between Eames and Watson to the reader. So goodbye CI. You were a great companion for eight years; Thanks for the memories.

Goren and Eames are perfect partners. He's brilliant, she's the perfect wise guy. No one else could possibly bring as much quirky charm to the show...it's sad that they would even try.

I am so sad to see Goren and Eames go...watched the 4/13 episode and was waiting for something but got nothing..so dull and boring. I will be calling NBC to voice my unhappiness with this cast change .. I will greatly be missing my LOCI with Goren and Eames who just made the show all that it was ... GREAT..
