I believe that the character Josh plays in How I Met Your Mother (Ted Mosby, the architect), is really very sweet. He is the kind of guy who is looking for commitment and to find that one true love. And that he would do anything to earn it. And as a friend, he is very loyal as we all know how he plays Barney's wingman, everytime he tries to hook up with a girl. And as for Marshall and Lily, he has always been there for them since their college days and have gone through all the thick and thins of life. This can be seen, in how he tries to support Marshall after Lily leaves him to pursue Art in San Francisco in the last episode of Season 1. And as for Robin, well...he initially thought that she was the one - but then becomes one of his good friends. And we know this by the way he comforts her after Robin goes through a rough patch post the break-up with Barney. (cont...)

(Contd.)And that whenever somebody uses a phrase or word relating to a military rank (ex:Major Buzz-kill), Ted and Robin would salute and repeat whatever is said as though addressing a military officer...hence "Major Buzz-Kill". Ted is such a great guy. I think I am in love with his character. And as of, Josh, well I think I have a crush on him :)
