The novel "The Peacemaker" by SJ Richard has Jensen Ackles written on every page. The author said in an interview when asked who might play her lead character, Jack O'Malley, in the movie and she said she is a huge fan of the show Supernatural and has always pictured Jensen in the role. Check out the book and tell me he would not be perfect for this tormented (handsome) and yet witty (if grumpy) Civil War vet.
