I tried to get into the series, being a fantasy / sci-fi fan, but after listening to the first season, I was disappointed. It is too confusing, going here and there without a good narrative line. I started the second season and abandonned it after the first 3 episodes. I think the series is doomed to a quick death. Good riddance.

You have to read the books. Then it makes more sense. Even in the books it is hard to keep track of all the different characters.
