What made you into a fan of the show

Snappy writing, good chemistry among the characters, plus you can usually follow the clues and thus the crime to its conclusion. It reminds you of Moonlighting with the young Bruce Willis and Sybil Shepard. Boy does that date me. Just like Moonlighting though, it is the death of the show if they actually hook up.

I am so tired of hearing about the Moonlighting curse. Shows have also failed because they danced too long around the hook up to where fans lose interest or the story line gets contrived and convoluted. I'm not ready for marriage proposals but I could do for some heavier flirting. Remington Steele style. :) Castle reminds me more of Mr. Steele anyway. Probably why I like it! Besides, Castle and Beckett will have too many issues and rough spots to overcome should they hook up... watching to see if they make it last should be just as interesting. Like Scarecrow and Mrs. King if Kate Jackson hadn't gotten sick and the show could have continued. Anyway, I think the Castle writers are talented enough to pull it off.

i say i do agree with both of the comments here.but in this case its the total package and both main actors are smart,whitty and theres no dumb silly schtick factor that other shows used to grease the wheels.yea, castle took way too long to tell her those 3 words but guys we have all been there right.we want to tell the gal our feelings but were scared to death.well poor !$#!# waited till death to tell her.its even harder that this gal is one haut cop that makes it even harder.i think i would have told her while freezing to death with her in my arms. but really folks i think its plan and simple she had a vest on and they were ready for it.they make her seem dead getting her out of the bad mans view so they could later go deep cover to flush this high roller out. and if by chance she did not have a vest on then they could not fix the damage this high power gun would cause.anyone heard of JFK?they were munis half a head in that case.becketts chest would be,well i leave that sight to you to ponder...

A friend of mine recommended it and I was like "whatever!". Then I sat down one day and watched a few of the first episodes. I kept on going and by the end of season 1, I was hooked. (This happened in the end of June this year!). So within two weeks I had watched all three seasons! Im sooooooo psyched for season 4 !!!!!
