Dear Bret, my name is Suzi and I have really related to your plea about diabetes and the message you're trying to convey to the public. This morning I learned that Josh, (foster son) died last night of a stroke at the tender age of 13. My heart is so heavy, he had such a beautiful spirit and stamina to live life to the fulliest. Bret, Thank you for advocating for Diabetes. I have had type 1 for 29yrs and am well aware of the struggles from complications. Yesterday myself, my son and husband rode in the "Tour de Cure" sponsored by the ADA - I hope others will also ride and donate for such a great cause. To a long and stable life! -Patty
