Hey everyone! For my master thesis I am comparing ANTM to GNTM (Germany's next Top model) and I am therefore looking for scenes of ANTM - no matter which cycle - where Tyra, any client, a judge or the girls themselves talk approvingly or not so about one of the candidate's bodies (preferably a plus-size girl, since we do not have any plus-size models in GNTM)... Does anyone remember a scene or a panel like that and where i could find it? wasn't there a plus-size model who lost weight during the show and had to leave because of that? thank u sooo much in advance for any help!

Yes, there were a couple: London (c12)- during the Ciara week (Top 7), she was seen gaining weight throughout the show and Tyra eliminated her for being "in between" plus-size and normal. Sara (c9)- she was originally cast as a plus-size model but in the Enrique Iglesias week (Top 8), she was seen LOSING weight and Tyra eliminated her for not being "what they chose". Seymone (c18)- during the Maple Syrup week (Top 10), Tyra praised her for "working her curves" and basically, adorned her figure. Whitney (c10)- well, she won and is the only full-figured girl to do so... Kortnie (c12)- she was really in tune with her curves and even when addressed by the other girls about her habits, she confronted them, saying: "My body is a temple, and sometimes my temple wants cheesecake." Unfortunately, there are no scenes with plus-size women doing well in go-sees because even with the best girls (Alexandra 14, Kasia 16), they always had "the clothes wont fit" drama. Hope this helps
