NBC Reality

Kevin Shiner, the best choise

Thursday, September 17, 2009 9:59 PM Report
America chose the right person, I am sick of all those people that can not give credit where credit is due. Kevin may not be the best singer, but his style and his delivery is what America needs more. To all of you that disagree G.F.a K. All the performers could have won the competition, and I would be very happy, I wish to each one of them the very best of luck, you are all WINNERS. To the winner, dont let all the negative people change you style. Good luck, one of your Italian fans.

Isn't it America's Got TALENT? You sing 3 ninety second songs terribly and they pay you a million. Shabby. Simon won't be offering any resord deals on this one.

I'm extremely happy for the guy myself; he deserved it. He seem to be very sincere, passionate and honest. Hooray for the Chicken Catcher. He can now hire someone else to chase the CHICKENS!!!

I think Kevin deserved to win because of his passion for music. I think him winning shows that you don't have to come from money and you don't have to know someone to make. My hat goes off to him.

What passion? If he had passion for music he'd be better at it. Susan Boyle, Britain's diamond in the rough...Kevin Skinner..America's. I'm embarrased.

I am honestly angry that Kevin Skinner won. Totally feel the contest and show is rigged. Now longer will I watch this program nor do I think much of NBC. There were several contests that did not get a fair shake (rigged and they were voted off like singer Bree and some of the group acts) but this Skinner thing was icing on the cake. Too bad, I really liked the idea of shows were the ticket buying public would have a say.

I agree with Toshie - " show is called America's Got Talent"! Kevin may have passion, he may even be sincere and honest, but what does that have to do with talent. In time, with continued training, singing, practicing...he probably could be a better singer. But to say that he has more talent than Barbara Padilla, because that is my understanding as to what the show is supposed to be about, is about the most ludicrous thing I have ever heard. I can't believe I wasted so much of my time watching these episodes to have it end this way, with one of the least talented contestants winning over so much talent that was there. It is an immense embarrassment to me that supposedly a representation of Americans chose Kevin over Barbara. I have lost faith in the show, but thank you for giving me back the hours I would have spent watching it in the future.
