American actor David Chisum was born on February 5, 1971 in Livonia, Michigan and raised in Fullerton, California. While there, he attended Sunny Hills High School, where he successfully conquered his many interests, like football, surfing and the drama club. Soon pursuing his career in acting, he began to appear in numerous television shows during the late 1990s. He worked on odd jobs for years before he won the contract role of Miles Laurence on the ABC soap opera One Life to Live.
Working steadily on television since 1995, David Chisum is no stranger to the small screen. His first roles were in Ned and Stacey, EZ Streets, The Burning Zone, Sliders and USA High. In 1998, he made his film debut in the drama 12 Bucks. This was followed by a guest role in the series Melrose Place, as well as in 3rd Rock from the Sun and Sunset Beach. In 2000, Chisum landed another guest spot, this time on the series Charmed. He next worked on the fantasy film My Life as a Troll, also starring Corey Feldman, director Dominick Brascia, and Damon Shalit. Chisum then continued his string of television appearances once again. He was seen on JAG, The Practice, Fastlane and Dragnet. He later got a part in the television movie A Carol Christmas, before appearing as a reporter in two episodes of 24. His next projects became Las Vegas, Cold Case and The Bad Girl’s Guide. In 2007, he auditioned for the role of Miles Laurence on One Life to Live. Unable to bear being separated from his family for a long time, he moved with them to Long Island, New York when he was cast in the role. He continued working on the entertainment industry, appearing in Angel in the Family and Flight of the Living Dead: Outbreak on a Plane. In 2007, he landed a part in the acclaimed thriller Dark Mirror, also starring Lisa Vidal.
