Dave Cruser was a member of the Zhan Hu tribe and after losing immunity, was voted off in a vote of 5-1. He was nicknamed Zoolander by Ashley Massaro, seeing as he was a former male model. His brash style of leadership led to his elimination.
Exclusive Interview: Dave Cruser Dave Cruser appears as a contestant on the 15th season of the hit CBS reality television series, Survivor: China. He was born on October 26, 1969, and is a native of Simi Valley, California. He presently works as a bartender, though he has also had a number of past occupations. Among these are a stint in the construction industry, as well as having modeled and acted for advertising while he lived in South Africa for a long period of time. He has also traveled extensively, having been to Munich, Milan, Paris, Hamburg, and Zurich. He studied for one year at Moorpark Community College, as well as one quarter of computer drafting at ITT.
Apart from his work and studies, he also enjoys a number of hobbies and pastimes. Among these are snowboarding, body surfing, hiking, Frisbee golf, studying industrial design, and riding his motorcycle. He has called himself amusing, industrious and creative. He also believes that he’ll have a fighting chance during the competition, mainly due to his love of camping, as well as being a team player and a motivational force for whatever crew he lands with.
