At the early age of seven, Daniel Kucan was already exposed to theater life as he studied carpentry and design. As years went by, his sense of design quickly evolved into something more edgy and dramatic. The Hollywood elite immediately liked his fresh artsy perception. He gets inspired by extraordinary things and uses unusual materials in his schemes. Presently, he lives in a Spanish Revival home which he creatively restored.

Daniel Kucan's distinctive creations can also be seen on the show Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. As part of the design team, he uses obscure materials and incorporates it in his designs to make it more hip and unconventional.
