Annie Edison

Played by Alison Brie

Annie Edison (Alison Brie) is the "good" girl in the spanish study group on "Community." Annie is always trying to do the right thing and is very concerned about getting good grades. She wants to be successful so she can attend an Ivy League college. Though she is younger than most of the other study group members, she often acts like the adult in the group. Annie calls out various members and confronts them for things they have done, making them feel guilty and change their actions.

Annie is like a person living in a fairy tale. She seems to skip through life singing to herself and carrying a basket of flowers. Usually she is overly cheerful and focuses on the positive things in every situation. Though she is usually happy-go-lucky, occasionally a darker side of her personality is seen.

Annie dropped out of high school because she was addicted to Adderall. She divulges that Senor Chang (Ken Jeong) is not really a professor so he will get fired, just so she can keep the study group together. She also helps a rival community college tow away a fake spaceship that the group is stuck in it, leaving them in the middle of nowhere.

During Season 1, Annie tells the Dean she will help him put on a STD Fair. He gives her the prize position of demonstrating how to use a condom. Sadly, Annie has never used one and is nervous, so she breaks into the Dean's office to try to practice on the mannequin and gets in trouble.
