Christina Cole was born on May 8, 1982 in London, England. She is the eldest of three siblings, and she graduated from the Oxford School of Drama in 2002. Her mother is a telecentre manager and her father is a driving instructor.
She played Cassie Hughes in the first season of Hex from 2004-2005. Her character is a young, withdrawn loner with a difficult past and mysterious abilities, such as clairvoyance and telekinesis.
After leaving the show, Christina moved on to several other television series including Jane Eyre and Sea of Souls. Upon graduating, she was seen as Lizzie on the TV production The Project. Later on, she won the role of Clarissa Payne in the teen movie What a Girl Wants. She was still in school at the time, but she already got the privilege of working with actors like Colin Firth and Amanda Bynes. When she finished her schooling and the film, Cole was cast as Juliet in the Theatre Clwyd production of Romeo and Juliet. While on Hex, she managed to land other roles. She was seen on shows like Foyle’s War, All About Me, and the TV miniseries He Knew He Was Right. She later got the part of Lettice Protheroe in the made-for-television movie Marple: The Murder at the Vicarage. She was also in Julian Fellowes Investigates: A Most Mysterious Murder - The Case of Rose Harsent in 2005.
In 2006, Christina Cole landed a small part as a receptionist in the James Bond film, Casino Royale. The next year, she appeared on an episode of the hit series Doctor Who, portraying Lilith in the episode titled “The Shakespeare Code.” She later provided an audio commentary for the show on the third season DVD. The next year, she was cast as Jenny in The Deaths of Ian Stone, and had a part in the pilot episode of Cane. She later played Mel in the ITV sitcom Sold, and starred in the TV movie Ladies and Gentlemen. In 2008, she was in Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day, and worked with Hex co-star Jemima Rooper in the series Lost in Austen.
