Film and TV actor Chris Bruno was born in Milford, Connecticut on March 15, 1966. He initially planned to have a career in professional skiing, but he had to quit after getting an injury. He auditioned for the college play The Mandrake and was cast in the lead role. After that, he transferred to the State University of New York to major in theatre. He was cast in several TV shows after graduation, such as the soap All My Children.
Walt Bannerman is played by Chris Bruno on USA Network's science fiction and suspense series The Dead Zone. He is the husband of Sarah, Johnny Smith's former fiancée. The two men became friends after Johnny became an asset to Walt because of Johnny's psychic abilities.
