Chelsea Korka Biography:
At the age of 20, Chelsea Korka became one of the nine finalists on the CW reality television series, Pussycat Dolls Presents: The Search for the Next Doll. Prior to the show, Chelsea was busy balancing her life as a waitress, singer and dancer in her hometown of Cooper City, Florida. She was also participant on the Miss Florida USA 2007 beauty pageant and held the title of Miss West Broward USA 2007. She grew up with two brothers and many male friends, which led her to develop an interest in skateboarding, video games and comic books.
Her decision to try out for Pussycat Dolls Presents: The Search for the Next Doll was made impulsively. She was on her way home from hanging out with her friends when she learned about the casting call via her car radio. Still dressed in her uniform (she was at work prior to meeting her friends), Korka went to Ball Harbor in Miami and succesfully auditioned for the show. As a finalist, Korka made it far in the competition, having made it to the top three with
Melissa Reyes and
Asia Nitollano . Although her singing skills impressed the judges, it took her some time before she could bring her dancing abilities at par with the other finalists.
