Bret Michael Harrison, who was born on April 6, 1982 in Portland, Oregon, flew to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career at a fairly young age. He then landed the role of Brad O'Keefe on Grounded for Life, a sitcom on the FOX network that lasted for two seasons and on the CW for its next two seasons. Philip Baker Hall and
Eric Christian Olsen among others. Harrison's other television credits include appearances in Law & Order: SVU, Boston Public, The O.C. and That 70's Show. In 2007, he was cast for another CW production entitled Reaper, where he again plays the lead role.
Sam is played by
Bret Harrison on the CW series, Reaper. Growing up, Sam's parents were always so easy on him, and he kept on wondering why for his parents were always pushing his younger brother to succeed. When Sam turns twenty one, he finally finds out the reason why. At a young age, his parents sold his soul to the devil--literally--and now, Satan himself is asking for dues, or rather, his services as the Reaper, to track down souls that have escaped from Hell. At first, he declines the offer until he realizes that it isn't an offer at all.
