Breckin Meyer is an American producer and actor who was born on May 7, 1974 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The son of a microbiologist and a management consultant, he attended elementary school along with future star Drew Barrymore, and was allegedly the first boy she ever kissed. With the help of Barrymore’s agent, he also entered into acting for television advertisements while he was still young. After attending Beverly Hills High School, he went on to work in a number of television series and movies. His credits include co-starring with Alicia Silverstone in the film Clueless, as well as acting in other films such as Can’t Hardly Wait, The Insider, Herbie: Fully Loaded, and Garfield: A Tale of Two Kitties. He also has a recurring role as Joseph Gribble in the cartoon series
King of the Hill .
Meyer works on the Emmy Award-winning Adult Swim stop-motion comedy series Robot Chicken as a voice actor for different characters, and as a member of the writing team. The series primarily features pop culture figures in outrageous sketch comedy situations, played by action figures, clay models, myriad household objects, and different toys. As there is little to no continuity between episodes, he voices different characters in each one. Aside from work, he also enjoys video games, playing the drums, and sports.
